Dr. Narahari received his medical education at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and finished his residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon completion of his residency, he became an assistant professor in hospital medicine at Emory. He followed with a fellowship in gastroenterology, completing his medical training in 2005. He joined Digestive Healthcare that same year.
Dr. Narahari’s training interests included hepatobiliary disease, including an abstract presentation at the American College of Gastroenterology conference. He also pursued a special interest in advanced therapeutic procedures, including ERCP (Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) and endoscopic ultrasound.
Since joining Digestive Healthcare, he has been part of the Rex Hospital Committee for Endoscopy, including serving as chairman on two separate occasions. He has been asked to speak at the state annual conference of advanced nurse practitioners, as well as at the state annual conference for the Raleigh Dietetic Association.
